Translating gender and sexuality in children’s literature: Turkey as a case study

Drawing on the translations of sexuality in five Turkish children’s literature, this paper starts with introducing origins, developments, and trends gender as well dilemma between pedagogy taboo issues closely related to body politics literature its translation different contexts. Particularly focusing context Turkey where have always been controversial issues, intends shed some light matter.
